Funny!!

Hey guys! Today my sisters and I went on a walk. We were on a highway-ish road and the people would move to the other lane to make sure they didn't hit us. I said, "I love Natchitoches people. They're all so friendly and nice." Then Bess said, "Yeah, except Mom sometimes." Ha ha!!

Hi Everyone!! Sorry that it's been so long. My family made up a verse to a primary song called Book of Mormon Stories. (For you non- LDS people you'll probably shrug and say who cares)

Happy birthday to Willie and Genevene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is 35 and I am 14!!!!!!! I had a great birthday. I got a dress and a jacket, a kindle case, shrinky dink sheets, a compatible bag, nail clippers, colorful cable ties, dark choc flavored peanut butter, frozen fruit, guava juice, and a blender!!!!! It is so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dad and I went to lunch at Hana's, a japanese restaurant. We went to the hibbachi (is that how you spell it?) grill and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to Goodwill and got a new purse for me because I couldn't fit in everything I wanted to with the old one. Then we went to Wal Mart and got some Clorox wipes to clean it off. I got to make my cake with my new blender. It is sooooo cool!! I spent pretty much the whole day playing Plants VS Zombies on Mom's kindle today. The only down part of the day is that Calder and Atticus have the flu. Well, it was a great day. Willie, would you care to share some things about your birthday?

Awesome Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a really awesome Christmas with Nana and Papaw. They always are in such a good mood. I feel bad that Nana got sick on Christmas. That's never fun. I got $70 worth of gift cards. I got white out and germ x and gum and clothes and lots of other fun things. My birthday is in 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be 14!!!!!!!!!! Wow. 14. That's old. Well, I gotta go. Bye!

Lucky Fred

This morning, Dad got home from running and he said that he saw a little kitten on the side of the road. We took it some food and milk. My sisters and I were all traumatized that we would have to leave the little kitten on the side of the road. We cried and complained for a long time. We finally got in the car and went home. As soon as we got back, we started making phone calls to find it a home. Someone finally called back and said that they had a friend that wanted a kitten. They came by to pick it up. We went back to where it was, but we didn’t see it. We looked for a while, but we didn’t find it until Bess made a meowing noise. The kitten responded. It had gotten caught in a bush of thorns. I had my purse on me, and I cut the thorns with my scissors until I could reach it. When it saw my hand, it started trying to scoot away. I got it out by pulling it out by it’s leg. They took it back to their house and it turns out that we’re getting a kitten too! We’re getting one that looks exactly like the one that we rescued. We’re naming it Lucky Fred after the one that we rescued. We’re soooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

School

Well, I'm in 8th grade now. The oldest grade in my school. I don't want to be this old. It feels like all the big kids are missing from the school, but we are the big kids! I have 5 teachers. One of the teachers that I knew I would have this year I thought I would hate. Turns out he's really funny. But he gives out lots of homework. We're learning lots in orchestra. We learned how to play the Pink Panther theme song in 5 days! Now we're learning how to play Brandenburg Concerto 3rd. I don't remember what it was called. We're also going to learn this song called Rosin Eating Zombies From Outer Space. The 8th graders have played this song for Halloween for the past few years, and we're all excited. We all love our orchestra teacher. She's so funny and she is literally the best teacher in the whole state! We're doing our mystery section in English Language Arts. We're doing Poe stories this week and next. After that we're doing Sherlock Holmes. I'm a big Holmes fan. I've read almost all of the books about him.
